How do I create an online account?
You may sign up here with an email and password.

How do I manage my account?
Occasionally we might send you some really great information – like promotions and sales or special offers, new product arrivals, or great tips and tricks.  You can easily opt out of this communication by unsubscribing at the bottom of our emails.
You can also view activity on your account such as your purchase history.

What if I’ve forgotten my password?
If you have forgotten your password, change it here or follow the 'Forgotten Password' instructions on the 'Sign in' page. For security reasons we are unable to send your password via email.

Where can I sign up for your newsletter?
You may sign up here!

ORDER:

How do I place an order?
You can use the Jung Lee toolbar to browse available products or search for a specific product directly by using the search text box.  To access more information or purchase an item, click on the product image and you will be taken to the item's product detail page.
Once you have found an item, select your quantity and use the ‘BUY’ button underneath.
You may view items in your shopping bag, and proceed to checkout, by clicking the bag icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page. You can add products to your shopping bag and edit or delete current items at any time.
When you're ready to complete your order, be sure to review all of the items you've placed in your shopping bag. If you decide that you don't want a particular product, click REMOVE ITEM. Once you have all the items you wish to purchase, and have estimated a shipping option, click the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button.

How do I place a bulk order?
Please contact us if you are planning to order bulk quantities. We want to make sure we have everything in stock or can deliver it within your timeframe.

What if I saw an item in your store but can't find it online, how can I purchase it?

How may I pay?
We accept the following forms of payment:

We do not accept:

  • International credit cards that are not affiliated with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
  • Money Orders
  • Personal Checks

 
When is my credit card account charged?
Items are charged to you when they ship, which is usually within two business days for in-stock items. If an item is temporarily unavailable, you will not be charged until it ships.

Is my credit card information secure?
Yes, we encrypt all credit card information during transmission and storage, so that data is private and secure.

What if I have a gift card?
Gift cards are available online for purchase AND redemption.

Where do you charge sales tax ?
Sales tax on the merchandise & shipping total are charged for items shipped to New York state addresses.  All other states ship sales tax free.

GIFT SERVICES:

How do I place a gift order?
When you check out online, you may enter the gift recipient's address in the shipping address fields. Be sure to include a phone number in case any shipping issues occur during delivery.
Select the gift message option on the checkout page to notify us that your order is a gift and include an optional note.

Can I have my gifts boxed?
All gifts are delivered in our exquisite signature black boxes.

Will you include a personal message and a gift receipt?
Yes, we will insert a hand-written note with the message of your choice, as well as a gift receipt. We remove all price tags from the merchandise.

What if I made the wrong gift choice?
For gift returns, our standard return policy applies to the gift recipient.

REGISTRY:

How do I create a registry? 
You can create a registry in one of the following ways: 
1) Create a registry online Starting an online registry is easier than you think! Click here to create an account. Fill in your names, email address and password. Once you complete these simple steps, you can enter all the requested information about your event. You can now start selecting gifts by clicking Add To Registry on any product page. 
2) Visit our Manhattan store – 25 West 29th street, New York, NY, 10001 If you've started your registry in a Jung Lee’s store, your registry will also be available online. 

When will my registry be available to friends and family? 
Your registry will be available immediately, whether it's created online or in store. You can easily share your registry by clicking “Share you Registry” on My Registry page. 

What is the difference between a Public and Private registry? 
If you make you registry Public it’s available to everyone through registry search, and direct access using the direct link you can send them. 
If you make your registry Private it’s available only to those, who have your unique ID or direct link to your Gift Registry. 

How do I make changes to my registry? 
Visit your Gift Registry page, or call or visit our Manhattan Store +1 (212) 257-5655. 

How long will my registry remain available to me and to my guests? 
You will be able to access your registry indefinitely. 

Will gifts be sent directly to me? 
When you set up your registry, you'll be able to choose two different ship-to designations for where you'd like your gifts shipped before and after the event.

I have guests coming from overseas. Can they shop online? 
Yes! Your guest can shop online. They can also call our Manhattan’s store to place an order. 

How can I keep track of my gifts and gift notes? 
You can select the option to receive an email each time one of your guest makes a purchase. 

How should I handle returning a gift?

How do I find a gift registry and place an order? 
- On the home page, scroll on the Registry Tab and select “Find a Gift Registry” 
- Enter the requested information and click Search 
- Click on the registrant name to access their gift registry 
- Available items are marked as “Add To Cart” 
- Already purchased items are marked as “Complete” 
- You will be able to adjust the quantities in your shopping bag 
- You can click on Continue Shopping or click on Proceed to Checkout 
- We store the couple's gift registry address, so you can select it at the checkout 
- Within minutes of completing the Checkout, the gift registry list will be appropriately updated to reflect your purchase 
- An order confirmation email will be send to your email address 
- An email notifying your purchase will be send to the registrant

What types of web browsers does your website support?
We support Internet Explorer 7, 8 and 9, the PC and Mac versions of Firefox 4, 5 and 6, Safari 4 and 5, and the current release of Google Chrome. To view all the features on our site, you must accept cookies, enable JavaScript and have Adobe Flash Player 9 or higher. While we do have limited support for older browsers, we strongly encourage you to upgrade your web browser to the latest supported version.

Is there a cost for the wedding registry planning/ curation service?

The service of turning to our expert registry designers at Slowdance is complimentary. Not only do they offer curation services, but they help you find your dream registry products tailor-made for your lifestyle. (Consider that our gift to you.)

Can I do everything online?

Yes. At Slowdance, we offer a hybrid, in-store, or online model so you and your partner can pick the route most convenient to you. If you're in the New York area, swing by our flagship store in NoMad for a quick in person browse. For our registry curation services, and one on one attention, we recommend an appointment.

What sort of wedding gifts and brands do you carry?

We offer a diverse range of wedding gifts, from luxury designer collections to one-of-a-kind finds. Our key brand partners include Hermes, Baccarat, Tina Frey, and custom-to-order options from brands like Marie-Daage plus unique finds such as Pols Potten, and Klein Reid. Whether you're preparing for a wedding, baby nursery, or special anniversary, we have beautiful pieces to treasure in every space and occasion.

Why should I register for my wedding with Slowdance?

Slowdance goes above and beyond the typical wedding registry. Our founder created the brand to provide a hyper-personalized experience for luxury-inclined couples.

How do I get my wedding gifts once guests purchase items from my registry?

When you are ready to receive your gifts, simply place an order using your gift card and our team will ship the items directly to you. Items that we have in stock, at the time we receive your order, will ship out within 3-5 business days. In most cases, however, the items will need to be ordered from the manufacturer and delivered to you at a later date. Lead times for delivery vary by item and brand and can be up to 6-12 months – especially for premium or special order items.

How The Slowdance Registry Works

A Hold Registry means that we hold the funds from all guest purchases in the form of credit to our store. When you are ready, log into your registry account, add the items that you want to purchase to your cart, and checkout using your unique gift card credit.

Will I know about a gift purchase?

We will notify you immediately via email when a guest purchases off your registry.

What are the benefits of the Slowdance Registry?

Simplicity and flexibility. You are in control of what gifts you receive and when you receive them. Click here for more benefits.

What if my guests would like the gift to be shipped to their address?

Guests are notified at the time of purchase that we aggregate registry gift shipments for a future delivery according to your preferences. Therefore, guests do not have the option to designate a shipping address.

Are guests alerted when items are shipped?

At checkout, guests will be notified that you have chosen to hold your items until a later date and that they will not receive shipment or tracking information. They will receive a confirmation email of their purchase.

Will my guests be charged shipping and handling fees?

Any gift purchased under $125 will incur a flat fee. Gift orders over $125 include complimentary shipping. Couples and guests should note, however, that some items (i.e. made-to-order gifts, specialty pieces, furniture, etc.) may require additional fees

Will my items go out of stock?

In such cases, we place a backorder. If, however, the item has been discontinued and is no longer available, we will promptly notify you.

Will I get my items on time?

Lead times for delivery vary by item and brand and can be up to 6-12 months – especially for premium or special order items.

How do I use my credits?

1) Log in to your registry account

2) From your registry product page, add desired items to your cart and adjust quantities.

3) You can also add items from our website directly to your cart.

4) To checkout, visit your cart, review your selections, and click “checkout”.

5) Your available credit will be displayed above the checkout button and will serve as the primary form of payment. Please note that items purchased with your credit are final sale.

6) Confirm your shipping address and follow the remaining prompts to complete your order.

Do my credits expire?

Credits do not expire, but we recommend you exercise them within one year after your wedding date. Price increases from the manufacturers are common. As a result, we will honor the price at the point of guest purchase for up to one year after your wedding date. After which, you will be responsible for the price of the item at the time you place your close-out order.

*We encourage you to place a close-out order as soon as possible after your wedding. We offer a 20% completion discount up to 6 months after your wedding date. What this means is, that once you have used all of your registry credit, we offer you a one-time discount on any additional items that you would like to purchase for any items you may have wanted but did not receive as a gift. 

How can I add my registry to my Zola wedding website?

1) Visit Edit Pages under Website

2) Click on the Registry page

3) Find and click on the button Add A Registry Link

4) Follow the prompts to enter the name of the store (Slowdance) and your unique registry URL (hint: it looks something like this https://slowdance.com/a/registries/

5) Then click on Save and it'll appear as a link on your website!

Promotions, Refunds, and Exchanges

Do you offer promotions or discounts?

No discounts or promotions are offered in conjunction with registry credit.

Do you offer registry referral incentives?

Yes! We offer a generous referral program to encourage you to spread the Slowdance message to your engaged friends. It ranges based on the total registry value, but check in with our team directly for details. If you are a professional in the wedding industry, please send a note to hello@slowdance.com to join our VIP affiliate program.

Do you accept returns?

Because most of our items are custom to you and made to order, all items purchased using your credit are final sale and cannot be returned.
